- Art your way to Success with ARTOZE
Winston Churchill once said, "Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm." We often see Ted talks, read books and watch influential figures talk about models of success. All of their paths and steps may differ but the core unifying element that exists within all their success stories is the will to keep trying and the constant search for self-contentment and improvement. Art is one of those few things that comes innately to a person. It’s an existential gift that can always be further honed. It’s a tool for bringing out the hidden mysteries of the human mind and heart onto a blank canvas. Art provides an individual with some of the most basic yet important skills required to succeed in every aspect of life. It’s a beautiful teacher with a colorful hue and a peaceful ambiance. It soothes the demons of one’s mind and builds a therapeutic safe space for them to explore their creativity and enhance their thought process and outlook on life. At the same time art develops discipline inside an artist. It brings life to the virtue of patience; hard-work and constant strive to do better. In the field of art, at the end of the day the most significant person who you have to compete with is who you were yesterday. It also humbles a person, makes them look at the world through a unique lens. It appreciates the beauty of life and our surroundings. It finds and brings out peculiar details in the most ordinary that we tend to overlook. We live in a constant haze of feeling like superior creatures. Art crushes that and brings us back to our humble roots. By doing this it also helps us appreciate ourselves in a healthy and beautiful way. Art of any form, whether it is dancing, poetry, singing, painting, pottery etc., puts a halt to ones hustling life. It shows you beauty in the buzz of life and serenades you into a hymn. A hymn of the soul and body; An alliance of the two. It aids you in finding yourself, in understanding your purpose and what you aim to accomplish in life. Even for those who don’t plan to pursue a career in the arts, it is equally important to try out art activities as it helps to take a pause, a breath and speak to your mind and heart. We often ignore these two while being immensely pressured by the world and its so called roles for us to fit in. Even though our minds are the truest things to us, yet they seem to be so foreign in these moments. Art helps to erase these doubts, to find a whole other meaning to ourselves. Art puts a mirror in front of you. You can see yourself in it the way you actually are, your hard work, your failures, your accomplishments and your struggles. At the same time it shows the world behind you the way you view it, the way you perceive it. Art is a true measure of one’s character and worth. A measure of self-appreciation and growth. It’s a leap of faith and a bundle of risks, but at the end of the day even if you fall back, it’ll be into a pool of your own creativity and soul. Into a garden of beauty waiting to be explored by you. The flowers will always blossom you back on top. We at ARTOZE aim to encourage and give space to talented artists who deserve the love and spotlight worth the effort put into every piece of art. ARTOZE takes pride in being a part of the art community. We engage in connecting and inspiring artists around the globe. You can always reach out to us if you want to come forward to stand along with your fellow community members to share your experiences, views and knowledge. - Art and Love - How they are the same
"Art and love are the same thing: its the process of seeing yourself in things that are not you", said by Chuck Klosterman, brings a revelation of thoughts and questions in one's mind. Masterpieces are often born out of love, from the ink of Shakespeare's quill to the paints of Leonardo da Vinci. There's a bag of love before and after every piece of art, first, the emotion of love that curates the art and second, the love and appreciation reverted from the audience. In this whole journey of art, you find passion and vigour that emote to the radiance of love around. The craft that springs from the fingertips of an artist is caressed with affection, for any artist, their greatest love will always be the skill of art possessed by him/her. The emotions around an artwork mostly depend on the characters and the encompassing environment of the artist. Shakespeare often penned down the feelings for his beloved, expressing his love, similarly, artists like René Magritte portrays the romantic insights in her through her famous painting 'The Lovers'. The portrait of Mona Lisa is the personification of beauty, ignited by the strokes of the artist Leonardo da Vinci, it has received soo much love from the public that the Mona Lisa has her own mailbox in the Louvre because of all the love letters she receives. Love has always been subjective, it does not possess a profound definition to it, refraining to be explained or bound to limiting words, love has been the chain that liberates, just like a piece of art. The shades of love have been tried to be explained through the essence of art. Art is timeless, and an artwork is a piece from the artist's soul immersed in love and passion. The black and white emotions of love are given colours, purpose and a story with the brush of an artist. There would be no masterpieces without the fondness an artist finds in emotions to create an artwork. A relationship is not just romantic, the depth of the relationship with your craft and art form is the purest as it is solely based on interest, skill, love and creativity. Hence the art crafted with intricacies of fondness is your equation with your art form of expression. - Believe in your Artistic abilities but Never stop improving
Humans imbibe and learn through the process of life like how a river collects everything that it confronts in its course. We constantly tend to grow and this ensures self-awareness which in turn sows seeds of self-belief in us. We water our skills planted with passion and interest, opening doors to opportunities and development. Artistic skills are implanted in everyone and to bring it out in any form, like poems, paintings or performances one should have to believe in their craft and skills. Art is a boundless field brimming with emotions, thoughts, vibrancy and expression. There is no limit to the creative liberty you can pursue, you can never explore enough of it and there is always room for anything beyond limitless. This field promises growth in one's artistic abilities and instincts. The pure craft of giving colours to your thoughts and stories to emotions animate masterpieces of a period. For an artist to enable himself/herself to perform this they should have flawless belief in their way of art and crafts. The experience of fineness comes with constant practice and hard work, the will to break and push anything that hinders the path of growth in the artistic gifts owned. There'll always be some gap in your skillset that you'll have to fill, one by one you fill them by exploring new corners of creativity in you. It is important to draw a line between the belief you hold on your artistic abilities and the overconfidence that can take birth from this. Falling in the pit holes of overconfidence makes it harder for one to imbibe knowledge and this can cause a sudden splash on the walls of creativity slowly washing off the paints. A river gets heavier and fuller as it travels through the forests and fields to reach the final destination, the ocean. Similarly, an artist should gracefully accept and learn to grow wise and old in skill, gaining expertise in the field of art is profound to those who are always inquisitive and intrigued in improving their craft. Connecting and sharing experiences and knowledge with other artists and experts helps in building a social bond as well as a binding foundation to flying heights. Being aware of the happenings around, staying alert to any changing circumstances or trends in the art industry gives you more access to the first-mover advantage which certainly does not compromise with efficient progress and highs of reaching an unending goal. Taking inspiration from fellow community members connects you to a world you haven't travelled around yet. Motivation comes from the ignition of talent and inspired views, which lights the candles of creativity in an artist yet to be discovered. This discovery is solely based on one's yearn to express and empower the ones around through the visual representation of an idea, thought, emotion or mere talent. So finally, we conclude that it is the line believe in your artistic skills that germinate the power to grow and improve in your respective field of art. ARTOZE takes pride in being a part of the art community. We engage in connecting and inspiring artists around the globe. You can always reach out to us if you want to come forward to stand along with your fellow community members to share your experiences, views and knowledge. - "Inspire and Empower" - Featured Artist - Ashley Chew
Art speaks volumes. Throughout historical antiquity, it has been used as a means of highlighting the highs and lows of the human race. Whether its oppression, inhumane activities, political stands, rebellion from the people or unified human victories, art captures it all. It possesses the beauty and intricacy of portraying the ugly and evil of our world in a mesmerizing way. It shows human suffering, capability, hopes and lost dreams. While celebrating the joy of life, art doesn’t shy away from showing the loss of life, the loss of will, the anger and sadness of people who have been shunned away for way too long. Artists bring out these deep felt emotions and feelings of centuries of pain, frustration, rage and oppression. They dig out what our world tries to bury and show the splendor and malice of it all. Ashley Chew is an African American artist living in the States. She specializes in art forms like painting, illustration and silkscreen. The Black Lives Matter movement holds a dear place in her heart and she represents this in her artwork with great pride. With the tense, uneasy and tragic environment right now, taking place in the US, it is very important thing for artists to bring out and portray these topics that make people uncomfortable or hesitant to talk about. The flair of art reflects on the life and suppression that has been taking place since ages. It is an eye opener for many to learn more and recognize their privileges and biases. At the same time it is a striking platform for the upheaval and encouragement of the culture and its people. The Black Lives Matter has been highlighting black artists, curators and galleries. She believes that this shouldn’t be a trend of the moment, but a lifetime of support and dedication. Women of color, face a whole other dimension of discrimination and silencing that even other women don’t. There is a sort of hierarchy that has been created there too to trample them down. Her art work aims to support these women of color. Black women account for 4% of galleries worldwide. For years her work has reflected, supported and depicted women of color. Her main aim is to help raise that 4% in galleries. Her emphasis is on the fact that they have stories to tell too, stories that have been concealed for way too long. Childhood is the prime age for one’s talent and skills to settle in and start flourishing. It is an age of holistic and creative development. It’s the time to find a passion and discover yourself. Ashley’s career developed as a child and she has always been an artist. From grade school to college, every year she took Fine Arts classes. A life without creating seems unimaginable to her since it is the raw expression of her soul. Art, in general, is often considered to be a path of passion and not that one of a career or earnings. It is assumed that it is an activity taken up for leisure or hobbies. She clearly proves this wrong as she prides in the fact that she has managed to sustain a career as an artist and is thriving in it. There are often doubts that artists cannot find work, make a living or that it’s just “for fun”. This couldn’t be more incorrect and her pieces reflect the hard work and success that she has put in and accomplished. Keeping yourself busy and occupied during this global pandemic is a means of keeping yourself sane. During this time, she has taken the time to brush up her technical skills such as website, exhibition submissions, digital classes and overall networking. These are refreshing and deeply useful skills that guarantee a lot of triumph in these virtual times. Her inspiring and unique message to other artists out there, who might just be starting off or are in the initial stages of their career, is to keep doing their work. Somebody out there is seeing it. Appreciation and acknowledgement go hand in hand and boost the morale of any individual. Knowing this within you will result in contentment and motivation to keep going on. Art does both; It builds a person and builds a superficial and materialistic world for them too. In her view art is very important for a student as art is therapeutic, art speaks and art records time. It is an ode to your past self, an appreciation of your present self and a message to your future self. Her greatest inspiration is Pharrell Williams. Although he is a musician and creates art with sound, it’s his mind that sparks wonders. The way he operates and manages is a marvel in itself. He is a huge art collector and publishes artist in his books. This has introduced her to many modern artists. She doesn’t believe that she can choose a favorite artist or an idol since it is like picking a child. Each one of them has something unique and special to offer. Each one of them holds a special place in your heart and exhibits a different sort of radiance. Ashley’s work left us all in amazement and shock, since she embraces everything about herself and shows it in the boldest yet subtle light. Her work has purpose and meaning behind it and uplifts those who have been crushed by the evil of our world. We at ARTOZE encourage and highly appreciate such actions where artists come forward to stand along with the other fellow community members to share their experiences, views and knowledge through "Inspire and Empower", a series By the Artists, For the Artists in association with ARTOZE Gallery and Exhibitions.
- The Impact of Social Media on Art and Artists
Social media has been weaving through the art world and changing various aspects of art, the artists and the art-viewing experience for the audience. Diving deep into the colours of this perspective leaves us pondering on how social media as a platform has served to the art community. So how did artists become famous before the light rush of social media? They tried hard and pleased the gatekeepers of the industry merely with their skill and spark. Looking at the warmer shades we discover that social media has granted a white canvas where the artists can pour in the paints of their creation to represent themselves and connect to the niche audience and raise demand for their uniqueness. This platform helps the artists connect with their viewers on a personal level and opens doors of exploration apart from art. Prior to the social media age, to experience art, one had to visit an art gallery or a museum but now it’s on our fingertip. Visiting the social media page of an artist will give you an insightful and memorable art viewing experience but we also agree to the fact that enjoying the intricacies and exploring the stories in a piece of art feels different on the screens of our mobile phones and under the lighting in a framed canvas. But this new option sells for many and the whole experience of viewing art changed offering its advantages and shortcomings. Artists can rightly use this medium to promote and popularize themselves, it's definitely not as easy as it sounds because the competition and the number of supremely talented creators are as many as leaves in a tree and there's a new leaf growing every time. Keeping up to the trends and social issues and curating art that touches and connects with the audience is the real task. For example after the 'Black Lives Matter' movement many black artists got the spotlight they always deserved. Art is a creative form of expression. Social media as a platform has gifted artists complete freedom to explore and find the far corners of creativity within themselves and put forward the best. Back in the day art was a leisure for the rich and now that has changed. Social media is a world in itself, it's a world to get inspired and envious. Somewhere in between the two we try to relate and compare. Artists get motivated musing at the work done by the fellow community members, they often take inspiration and perceive them as idols on the other hand some artists tend to devalue their growth comparing it to the progress made by their colleagues and this can increase peer pressure and effect their creative liberty. Hence we know that the impact of social media on art and artists is not all sugar and sweet, leading to the slash of creativity. Art as an industry has been growing since the birth of social media increasing the number of art admirers and decreasing the number of involvement of nature and use of physical space to exhibit a collection of soulful canvasses. Today Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media feeds are the art galleries and this is a medium powerful enough to create the buzz and uproar for deserving talents. During the tough times of the global pandemic, social media has become a part of our staple diet and this has helped artists come out in different ways. Art has provided to be a soothing element highlighting visual appeal, creativity and imagination. In times like this we have realized and observed the beauty of nature we have been ignoring over the years. Artists have helped us enjoy and reminisce the essence of minimalistic and extravagant character of the world through the strokes of their perspectives. ARTOZE has constantly been working to give space to all the creators and artists on the rainbow of the internet today; we are elated to be a part of the community full of vibrance and positivity. You can always reach out to us if you want to come forward to stand along with your fellow community members to share your experiences, views and knowledge. - "Inspire and Empower" - Featured Artist - Heidi Sutterluety
From childhood, there are certain ways and constructs of life that have been taught to us. Most of these lead to a common end goal, that one of living a happy fulfilling life. As fantasying as it may seem, a beautiful life is what all our initial dreams and strive for achievements begin with. But on close observation, you will come to the realization that none of these dreams of happiness, whether its career or family, or both, are without the existence of a gorgeous home. The cliché saying,‘ A house becomes a home because of the people in it’ stands very true, yet at the same time the people too need that house to turn it into a warm and welcoming haven of love and acceptance. A home is a sanctuary for all those who reside in it, a place of comfort from the cruel tentacles of this world. A place where you can be your utmost true self and feel comfortable within your skin, with your people. Many walk amongst us who are gifted with the ability of having a visionary idea for the superficial aspects of a house and are experts at delivering these visions. They are able to turn our houses into elegant and charismatic homes, with their stylish touch and their knack of capturing the house’s and its inhabitant’s essence. Heidi Sutterluety is an Austrian artist and designer residing in Austria itself. She possesses the charm to turn houses into stunning picturesque homes. She specializes in up imping of old furniture and renovates these into fabulous ornaments to adorn the house. Currently she follows art trends like Shabbychic and Vintage. Her Instagram page is an ode to her exquisite taste and her talent of transforming these pieces into magnificent furniture. She is very big on recycling things and her work always aims to emphasize on the message of not throwing away. She is constantly trying to reuse and rejuvenate everything that comes her way, by giving it her own special touch. Developing her career began with the simple yet most harrowing task of renovating an old flat. With this she realized where she wanted to go and has been at it since then. Heidi’s work is truly delightful and she seizes the aesthetic of ‘vintage in a modern world’ very well. Pride for an artist comes with different components, with Heidi it’s that she is very well versed with colors. She feels like she has a natural relationship with them and can feel every aspect of them. Through this feeling for colors and added sense of style and grace in her work, she produces the finest home interiors. Loving what you do is a very important thing. Since without the soul, everything is valueless. This stands very close to her heart since she believes that every artist must love and appreciate what they do. They should keep trying further and never stop doing it. Hard-work and dedication will be rendered useless if there is no passion and love for the work. Jonathon Marc Mendes is her greatest inspiration. His work envelopes the feeling of a warm, lovely antique home. A lot of his inspiration reflects in her work too but with the added flair of her own style. We at ARTOZE encourage and highly appreciate such actions where artists come forward to stand along with the other fellow community members to share their experiences, views and knowledge through "Inspire and Empower", a series By the Artists, For the Artists in association with ARTOZE Gallery and Exhibitions.

- "Inspire and Empower" - Featured Artist – Ashwini Sajeendran
Doctors have always been artists. They fix the wear and tear in the art designed by the creator. They paint hearts red with life springing beneath their fingers, they paint faces with smiles and tears of joy, and they're the candle burning tirelessly to spread light in dark times of the global pandemic. Doctor Ashwini Sajeendran, is an Indian artist based in the United Kingdom. She pursued her dream to become a doctor alongside the determination to accomplish a career in her passion art. Her mother has been her support system and forever inspiration throughout her journey. Being a doctor she has been through all the anecdotes you've heard a medical student has given a rant about. This is why she recognizes the importance of art in a student's life. She believes that art is a medium of expression and self-reflection and this helps one water the plants of creativity initiating growth. Ashwini is specialized in watercolor, acrylic, oil pencil, and Gouache. She enjoys watercolor and gouache the most. Gouache is opaque watercolor and is a water medium paint consisting of natural pigment. This induces realism in one's art, and she considers achieving realism as a way to express herself. Being a doctor and a responsible human being Ashwini has been constantly driving for a better tomorrow. Her craft is pleasing to the eyes and soul. She is highly committed to both her profession and passion. Her consistent efforts to make a career out of her passion is appreciable and endures her heart and love for her craft. Her message to other artists is very simple yet effective, "Keep experimenting and practicing and one day you will achieve what you've been dreaming for", this statement truly proves that consistency and hard work is the hero and heroine of the movie, 'The Journey To Success'. Her lively character and interest in capturing simple moments of life and nature holds her highlighted from the crowd of artists achieving a career in art. We at ARTOZE encourage and highly appreciate such actions where artists come forward to stand along with the other fellow community members to share their experiences, views and knowledge through "Inspire and Empower", a series By the Artists, For the Artists in association with ARTOZE Gallery and Exhibitions.
- "Inspire and Empower" - Featured Artist – Devina Sharma
Every artist has a muse that influences their work. Whether it’s a situation, an object, a person, a feeling or just your simple everyday surroundings. To master the art of creating something exceptional out of the conventional is a unique skill. One of the prime qualities of respectable art is the aesthetic aspect of it. Giving things that go unnoticed by us, a twist is an exquisite talent. Aesthetics is what gets us, as viewers, hooked onto art. Even though we might interpret it through a different lens, we are all unified by the visually appealing trait of it. Something about finishing a tiring day at work or school and looking at the gorgeous talents that our world has to offer evokes a feeling of bliss and admiration within us. Devina Sharma is one such gifted artist with the ability to capture our ordinary environment and turn it into a wonderful work of art. She is of Indian origin and is currently based in India. Looking at her work makes us curious of the mechanisms and methods that are put behind these paintings. She specializes in watercolor painting. Her paintings depict different aesthetic sceneries. They range from flora and fauna to the buzzing beauty of man-made cities. She captures what our eyes can’t comprehend. She puts her soul and passion into her work. Every stroke of brush reflects her drive for following her heart. She doesn’t necessarily follow any particular art trend and goes with what is inside of her. Connecting with her audience holds utmost importance to her. Each and every painting is a result of her emotions being portrayed on paper with colors. Emotions and feelings connect people despite all their differences. People could disagree on each and every aspect of their lives yet somewhere their feelings are the universal language of human love, empathy and care and her work captures this in its best form. Social Media is a very powerful tool in today’s day and age. Connecting with friends to starting small businesses, this tech wizard has given us it all. For Devina too, social media platforms were a big medium of developing and booming her career. The feeling of being able to hold on even when all the forces of the world seem to be pushing you down is one of great achievement. Likewise for her, the fact that she never gave up and kept following her passions despite all the hurdles is a pride in itself. Art is a means to influence people. She believes in the power of art to constantly affect and change lives and her main message to other artists is to keep on inspiring people through their work. In her view art can be of great help to a student. It is a way to foster positive energy and develops creativity. Art gives peace and it also develops the human mind to think extraordinarily with different perceptions. It gives a student the tools to find their passion, grow and excel in it and influence lives. Devina’s own art brings her joy. Seeing her own growth throughout the years and learning from where she may have slipped is her biggest inspiration. After all, who may be the best teacher than your own past self. We at ARTOZE encourage and highly appreciate such actions where artists come forward to stand along with the other fellow community members to share their experiences, views and knowledge through "Inspire and Empower", a series By the Artists, For the Artists in association with ARTOZE Gallery and Exhibitions.
- "Inspire and Empower" - Featured Artist - Riddhi Malhotra
There is something oddly calming about watching the waves crash on the beach, with our toes dug into the sand and the vast blue sky lingering above us. Nature’s elements; earth, air, fire, water give us an unexplainable yet an astounding feeling. They bring harmony to the body and soul and provide a union of the two that leaves us at peace and tranquility. Any water body is that of amazement, curiosity and an inexplicable feeling of oneness. Something as infinite as the ocean leaves us in a humbling state of awe. To know that something so massive that can take over you in any second and yet can remain as calm as a ballerina on her tip toes, makes us appreciate the world’s beauty in a completely unique way. Our memories of the ocean will linger on, long after our footprints in the sand are gone. And who may be better equipped at capturing these memories through their brush strokes than the artists of our world. Riddhi Malhotra is an Indian artist based in India itself who specializes in acrylic and watercolor painting of seascapes. Her Instagram page is filled with outstanding paintings of the ocean and different water bodies. She has truly proven how a similar muse can be painted and sketched in multiple different ways, each time coming out bolder, stronger and evoking a powerful feeling inside of us. Currently she makes art for modern new houses and provides a scenic touch to its empty walls, thereby turning it into a warm welcoming home. Every artist has a purpose and meaning behind their art. The ocean evokes a feeling of relaxation and joy in us. With its soothing sounds and its graceful yet bold embrace, the ocean is not only home to an entire species of fauna but is also a welcoming body to humans. Her art aims to provide a sense of freedom and joy. It is based around the feeling you get when you're on a holiday and your mind is completely rid of any stress or worries. It may come as a surprise but she is a self-taught artist. The professionalism stands out in her work and this really emphasizes on the fact that with sincere dedication and a drive for passion through hard work, one can build and enhance their skills on their own. She has been drawing and painting all her life, and has been selling her art for the last five years. Communication is a vital aspect in any field and she takes this to her heart. She loves connecting with her audience over social media, and feels like a direct connection with the audience gives her instant feedback about her work. Appreciation, self-content and glory are a huge part of this field. She prides into the fact that she is a self-taught artist, and every day she is constantly learning and growing in her art. She also takes immense pride into the reality that she manages a full time job along with being an artist on the side, seamlessly. During this global pandemic when morale and motivation can be at an all-time low, she has made sure to start a daily painting challenge by doing one small painting every day for sixty days in a row. This has kept her intrigued and frequently involved in her passion cum work. All of the artworks that have been created during this period are showcased on her Instagram page and her shop. Rules and regulations are often rigid barriers that disable a person from exploring and learning more about themselves and their abilities. They are a social construct created by society to keep people within certain boxes, many a times these can be very restrictive and harmful. Her main message to all the artists out there is to always keep trying new things and never worry about the rules. Experiment and learning are her go to mottoes. Art not only expands and creates your own view on the world but it also equips you with ability to sympathize and accept all sorts of people from different backgrounds. According to her, it broadens our horizons to view the world from different perspectives. It helps us to accept the differences in people and places and leads to overall growth of the mind. Her greatest inspiration is her mother, as throughout her life she has worn many hats, and all so well! She has been a math teacher, top notch singer, artist, crafter, baker, organizer, manager, and a wonderful mother. She enveloped the aura of being a strong, independent and nurturing mother. Apart from her mother, the other smart and talented woman who she idolizes is artist Katie Jobling. As M.L Borges once said, “The beauty and mystery of the ocean, fills our lives with wonders, vast beyond our imagination.” Riddhi has definitely grasped these imaginations and thrown it all onto canvases filled with a life that seems so mysterious yet enchanting to us. We at ARTOZE encourage and highly appreciate such actions where artists come forward to stand along with the other fellow community members to share their experiences, views and knowledge through "Inspire and Empower", a series By the Artists, For the Artists in association with ARTOZE Gallery and Exhibitions.
- My Brush Strokes - An Online International Art Exhibition for Artists
Creativity of any sort is a blessing to humanity. It is a means of giving purpose and meaning to mundane ordinary aspects of your life. Someone could be describing their daily routine, but once they do it through the flairs of brush strokes or the movement of their hands and feet swishing in the air or through a beautiful melodic harmony or through ink on pages, it converts the ordinary into extraordinary. It gives life to the artist as well as those viewing their art. We at ARTOZE believe in equal opportunities for everyone. Everyone deserves a chance to a platform to showcase their talent. - "Inspire and Empower" - Featured Artist - Carrie Birch
Parts of nature hold a deep connection within our souls. Untangling the mysteries of nature and the gift of wildlife we string closer to our surroundings. We should let our minds dwindle to the sounds, colours and texture of nature that will sow intricacies of art in one's life. Carrie Birch is an artist based in Australia, who is majorly invigorated by the intricacies of wildlife. She loves the colours, light and texture of the vibe around her. She has a fetish for woven fiber art which is currently swamping her Instagram feed. She specializes in Paper Art and through this innovative form of art she captures the reflection of wildlife that she experiences. She says she's fortunate that she lives close to a vast stretch of a national park which is home to a plethora of native flora and fauna. She thinks it's an artistic place and it's challenging not to be inspired by it. She uses paper to decipher what she perceives and collects from nature, in a way that it reflects the fragility of the land and the creatures that reside over. Humans have always overpowered the virtue of nature to their individual means, and we all are equally liable for the loss hence caused. Carrie acknowledges this fact and realises the obligation to speak for the ones who lack a voice, she does this with the softness of paper and her exquisitely crafted skills. Many amidst us fret to leave the corporate role we acquire in order to comprehend our passion. Its indeed a tough decision to exert. She warmly and firmly moved into her passion with ample support from her family. This has eased her to give unhindered time to perfect and polish her art. The gift of holding uniqueness and being addressed by her clients to design unique pieces of art gives her immense pride in her work. Being able to present a creation furnished for a memory of certain special distinctive moments and events of life and being remembered by that piece of art makes her feel very fortunate and happy. Making new bonds during this dim pandemic by being a part of the great initiative proposed by her local rural community and reaching out to people has helped her mark a positive impact in times of when the world is confronting gloomy days. Her message for other artists "Be You. Find your passion. Let these two things smash into each other and embrace it." shows how she remains true to herself and enfolds her passion. She is invariably inspired by life, motion and the breath of nature. The grace and drama the earth posses never fails to fascinate her. She senses a strong connection with nature and cannot imagine living far from its serenity. She believes that art is present everywhere and thinks students should let themselves open to the art of nature to imbibe and get inspired. In her view, this can empower you to grow and comprehend yourself better. We at ARTOZE encourage and highly appreciate such actions where artists come forward to stand along with the other fellow community members to share their experiences, views and knowledge through "Inspire and Empower", a series By the Artists, For the Artists in association with ARTOZE Gallery and Exhibitions.
